Golden Oaks Library 7:03 A.M.
    As the day began, the town of Ponyville was bathed in the light of the sun.  The light eventually made to the library and shone inside of Quillwrite's room.  The light shone on Quillwrite, causing him slightly shift in his bed as he slowly opened his eyes.  As he yawned and stretched, getting out of bed and gently waking up Timber.

"Timber, time to wake up, little guy." he said as he rubbed the top of Timber's head.

Timber awoke with small yawn before stretching.  As he finished, Timber started to lick Quillwrite's face.

"Okay, okay, that's enough, let's go see if the others woke up yet." he chuckled, as Timber barked.

As they exited the bedroom, Quillwrite noticed that Lone Wolf and ArrowsEye were leaving their guestrooms as well with Clover on Lone Wolf's back and Zelta perched on ArrowsEye head.

"Morning, guys." he said to the two.

"Morning." Lone Wolf said, yawning.

"Good morning." ArrowsEye said with his usual amount of energy.

As they made their way to the kitchen downstairs, Quillwrite noticed that Emerald Rose hasn't come out of her room yet.  While the others heaed towards the kitchen to get breakfast, Quillwrite stopped at Emerald Rose's bedroom door and knocked gently.  After which, he heard a slight shuffling coming from inside.

"Coming." Emerald Rose said from inside the room.

When the door opened, Emerald Rose walked out and closed the door with her magic.

"Good morning." Quillwrite said with a small smile.

"Good morning." Emerald Rose said, matching Quillwrite's smile.

"After you." he said, politely letting Emerald Rose go first.

"Thank you." she said walking past Quillwrite.

When she reached the stairs, Emerald Rose turned her head slightly to look at Quillwrite.  She smirked and swayed her hips a little before walking downstairs.  This made Quillwrite blush before he made his way downstairs.  Once they reached the kitchen, they each used their magic grab an apple and began to eat their breakfast.  Quillwrite got a bowl of fresh berries for Timber, with the timberwolf pup eating them as soon as the bowl touched the floor.  Clover and Zelta ate their food as well.

"So how about we go to Twilight's castle to see if your family and friend are awake so we can go and try some more treats from Sugarcube Corner?" Lone Wolf suggested.

"Sounds like a plan to me." Quillwrite said, taking another bite of the apple he had.

"I was hoping that the two of us could talk for a minute before we left." Emerald Rose suggested to Quillwrite, making him slightly blush and making Lone Wolf and ArrowsEye look at them with a smirk and raised eyebrow.

"I... Uh... I...." was all Quillwrite could say.

"I just need to talk to him about something important." Emerald Rose said, disarming the moment, quickly.

"Alright, we'll be outside." ArrowsEye said as he and Lone Wolf walked out the door and waited for the other two.

Emerald Rose led Quillwrite upstairs to his room with Timber following them.  Once inside, Emerald Rose closed the door and began to speak.

"So, I heard you have your heart set on a certain Queen of a certain group of Changlings." she said walking around the room.

"W-well I guess you could say something like that." Quillwrite said, nervously.  "Why do you say that?"

With a smile, Emerald Rose turned to face him as green flames started to surround her while.  Quillwrite just stared in surprise with his mouth open and glasses sliding down slightly as he now saw, instead of Emerald Rose, now stood the Queen of the Changlings, Queen Chrysalis.

"Surprise." she said with a toothy smile that showed her fangs.

Seeing the look on his face, Chrysalis let out a slight chuckle.

"If you keep making that face, it'll freeze." she said as she used her hoof to close Quillwrite's mouth and her magic to fix his glasses.


"Y-you mean to tell me that you were Chrysalis the whole time." he said, feeling a bit unsure about what to say.

"That's right." she said as she floated over onto the bed and laid down with her head up, still looking at the unicorn.

After a few seconds, Quillwrite had a smile to rival Pinkie's.

"YES, I knew one day I would see you face to face." he said, bouncing around.

Chrysalis just stared at him with her eyes wide.  She cleared her throat to get his attention, making him stop and blush once he realized what he was just doing.

"Uh, sorry, I guess I got a little excited." he said, looking away from the changling, clearly embarassed.

Chrysalis looked at Quillwrite and smiled, letting out a small giggle as she hovered over to him.

"It's alright." she said using her hoof to turn his head back toward her.  "In fact, I'm flattered that you're not afraid of me after what I tried to do in Canterlot."  she continued as she sat down.

"Well, I believe that you just need somepony to give you a chance." Quillwrite said, gently rubbing the top of Timber's head.  "I know that you have at least some good in you."

Timber walked over to Chrysalis and started to nuzzle her right front leg.  The very action made Chrysalis give a gentle smile at the timberwolf pup as she gently rubbed his head as well.

"Looks like Timber agrees." Quillwrite said with a small chuckle.

Chrysalis smiled and picked Timber up with hooves.  The timberwolf pup started to lick the changlings cheek, making her laugh.

"Well, shall we head out?" she asked, transforming back into Emerald Rose.

"Let's." Quillwrite said as they left the room with Timber following.

As they were walking back outside, Quillwrite stopped once they reached the bottom of stairs. Chrysalis as Emerald Rose stopped and looked at him.

"What's wrong?" she asked with a little worry.

"I was thinking that you should show your real form to my family." Quillwrite suggested.  "My friends already know how I feel about you, but

I haven't told my mom, dad or my sister."

"I-I don't know if that's..." she said before she was cut off by Quillwrite.

"Please, for me." he said, pleadingly.

"Very well, now let's go." Chrysalis said with a gentle smile.

The two ponies and timberwolf pup walked out the down where Lone Wolf and ArrowsEye were waiting for them.

"That was a long talk." Lone Wolf said smirking and raising an eyebrow.

"Very funny." Quillwrite said with a small smile.  "C'mon let's go to the castle."

The group walked towards the castle, but Chrysalis was actually and extremely nervous about revealing herself to others, especially Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight Sparkle's Castle 7:47 A.M.
    Once the group reached the castle, Quillwrite knocked on the door.  They all heard hooves walking towards the door from inside the castle.  The door opened to reveal Twilight herself.

"Morning." the four ponies said to her.

"Good Morning, Everypony." She said as she gestured for all of them to enter.

As they walked through the halls towards the main room, Quillwrite noticed that there were voices coming from the room, voices belonging to the other members of the Mane Six.  Chrysalis as Emerald Rose noticed too and was starting to get worried.  Quillwrite moved closer too her and smiled, letting her know that everything would be okay; she smiled back.
Once they reached the main room with all the thrones and Cutie Map, The group noticed that not only was Quillwrite's dad, Ace Slugger, mom, Melody Bloom, sister, Cotton Heart, and best friend, Wing Saber, were there, but also the rest of Mane Six, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.

"So what will we be doing today?" Twilight asked as stood with her friends.

"Well I have something to tell my mom, dad and sister and Emerald Rose has something to show you." Quillwrite said, calmly.

Though he may have been, inside he about to have a heart attack, he was so nervous.  He turned toward Emerald Rose.

"Okay, ready?" Quillwrite asked.

"Yes." she said.

Emerald Rose walked until she was in front of all three groups of ponies.  Suddenly a green fire engulfed the mare and as it began to recede, it was shown that there were holes on the mare's legs, her mane and tail turned into a teal-like green with holes on the end of each.  Tattered insect wings had grown from a shell-like back, much like an insect.  Fangs had emerged from the mouth upper jaw and a jagged curved horn appeared in place of the unicorn horn.  Atop the head, a black crown with teal-like spheres appeared.  Instead of Emerald Rose stood the Queen of Changlings, Queen Chrysalis.  Everypony, besides Quillwrite, had a look of surprised, fear and confusion.

"Surprise." Chrysalis said, quietly with a meek smile.
